IMPAX Monitor Rental Policy

Warranty Replacements:

Process Technologies Group, Inc.'s standard one (1) year mail-in warranty does not provide the client with a rental system while their unit is being repaired. If a rental unit is required to temporarily replace an existing IMPAX or IMPAX/SK system currently under warranty, then a rental unit will be provided according to the rental schedule listed below. If the repair return timeframe unexpectedly extends due to backlog or delivery delays, we will extend the rental period to accommodate the client. Extension periods will be provided at no charge only when authorized by management. Our standard mail-in repair option will continue to be our primary warranty remedy. The customer will be expected to submit a purchase order agreeing to reimburse us for each day that the rental system is consigned to their facility. The daily rental rates listed below will be used based on the system provided.

Out of Warranty Replacements:

Rental systems will be made available to any client on a "First Come-First Serve" basis only after priority has been given to warranty claims or existing preventative maintenance contracts. It is in everyone's best interest to attempt to reserve a rental unit by scheduling future repair or upgrade work (if possible). PTG, Inc. reserves the right to supply a compatible technology based on back-up inventory.

Note: Shipping days will not be calculated in the Rental calculations.

Rental units will be consigned after receipt of a purchase order and a signed policy acknowledging the terms of our Rental Policy. The client accepts responsibility for any damage to the rental unit (sans shipping) caused while the system is in their possession. Damage caused during shipments from the client location will always be the client's responsibility.


The client will be responsible for all shipping charges associated with the rental program regardless of warranty status. All units must be shipped out via UPS-Ground unless otherwise approved in advance. Expedited return shipments (UPS- Red, 2nd-Day, etc.) will be benchmarked by the original method selected to ship to the client location.
