IMPAX 3500 Process Monitor

The new IMPAX 3500 features an advanced software system capable of tracking information about forming forces, productivity, historical trends, and process efficiency. Considerable savings can be realized by using these features to increase efficiency and improve machine utilization. The 3500 is capable of observing processes and monitoring their forces, and stopping the machine if an error is detected. It can also track the number of parts produced, to eliminate overruns.

IMPAX process monitors use a patented algorithm to learn the correct force profile for a process, and then monitor the process. If the profile ever changes, they can send a warning or shut down the machine.

IMPAX monitors use two methods for process monitoring: peak and area-under-curve. They also use programmable tolerances and crash limits, for customizable process control. Basic production counters are included, and the monitors can be networked to provide robust data collection.
